SOLUTIONS
This page provides to our
potential customers an overall view of what our programs are capable of
doing. A common phrase that we hear all the time is, "Can your programs
do this?" And the answer is yes, because we can always create a solution
for your needs.
The following are a few
examples of how our programs are providing solutions to existing business
problems. This list is by no means complete, nor will it ever be. This is
due to the fact that we are creating new solutions on a weekly basis. We
will be adding new entries as time permits.
If after reading this section
you are still not sure if we can help, simply
email
us with your current situation and find out. You have nothing to lose
and everything to gain. You can also use your browser's print option to
print this web page and go over it at your convenience.
My business requires that I create a label for each
item that I sell. What I am currently doing is creating a sales report
from QuickBooks and saving the report as an Excel file. I then use Excel
to open this report and manually have to reformat the information to be
able to create the labels. This is a very time consuming process and since
I have to do this on a daily basis I am spending many hours doing it. I
cannot simply create labels since part of the label information that is
required is the customer's name and purchase order number. Can one of your
program automate this for me?

We are currently using QuickBooks and everything is
fine with the exception of the following problem. We are a service company
and we bill our clients for the same amount every month. We were able to
automate the invoice process by using the memorize transaction feature in
QuickBooks. Our problem is that we need to be able to print the invoices
on a specially made postcard and QuickBooks cannot do this. If one of your
programs will do this, then we will have a complete solution for our
accounting needs.

I run a dental practice and using QuickBooks for my
accounting needs and which does almost everything I need. The problem that
I have is that QuickBooks does not really let me customize the invoice the
way I need it. When my clients come to my office we need to create an
invoice with the following information. Client's previous balance, the new
charges for the work done if any, if the client makes a payment, indicate
the payment on the invoice and show the balance due. I am aware of
vertical applications for the dental industry that do just what I have
describe but costs thousand of dollars and don't have all the capabilities
that QuickBooks offer. Can any of your programs help me with this problem?

Our company was using QuickBooks for several
years but we have outgrown the 5-user limit. I switched to M.Y.O.B. but
this program is not as good as QuickBooks and it is very, very slow.
I though of going back to using QuickBooks and have a separate 5-user
installation that will just do invoices. But QuickBooks does not allow the
transfer of Invoices from one company file to another. Will your QB to
QB Invoice Assistant allows us to transfer the invoices? Another
problem is that we have created many invoices in M.Y.O.B. Do you have a
program that will let us transfer the invoices from M.Y.O.B. to
QuickBooks?

We have an EDI system were we receive most of our
orders from several of our distributors. We receive anywhere from fifty to
hundreds of orders a day. From our EDI system we print all the orders and
have to manually create the invoices in QuickBooks. The EDI file that we
receive is just a text file. Do you have a program that will take this EDI
file and create the invoices in QuickBooks? If you do, this will be a life
saver.

I have an on-line store where I sell CD's and music
accessories such as caps, t-shirts, posters, etc. I receive all the orders
in one file. What I need is to be able to convert this file so that I can
import into QuickBooks to create the invoices. I read that your Shopping
Cart Assistant can do this, but besides importing the invoices into
QuickBooks I also need is the following. For all those orders that have
CD's, I need to create and EDI File that I can then submit to my
distributor. The distributor will then use the EDI file that I submit and
will send all the CD's ordered to my customers.

I have a business of ATM machines. I have several hundred ATM machines in
Gas Stations, Mini Markets and Malls. Each month I receive a report that
shows the commission that I must pay each of the businesses that have one
of my ATMs. This means that on the first of each month I must create
several hundred checks to pay out the commission. Do you have a program
that will take this commission report and create the checks in QuickBooks?

I own several pizza restaurants from the Papa John's
Pizza franchise. Their proprietary system has a time clock system that
provides me with a weekly report of the hours worked by all of my
employees. I use QuickBooks for my accounting and payroll needs and we are
currently manually entering the payroll hours from this report into
QuickBooks. This is a very time consuming and error prone process. Do you
have a program will take the payroll report and import the hours into
QuickBooks?

I have an auction business and use eBay for auctioning
my products. From eBay I can download an IIF file that contains the
information for creating all the invoices for the sales that I had.
Because I ship the products using United Parcel Service (UPS) I also need
the shipping information in UPS. I can open the IIF file in Excel and can
manually clear out the unwanted information. This is doable but is too
taking too much of my time. I need to concentrate on my business and
really don't have the time to be doing this. Do you have a program to do
this?

I work for a non-profit organization. We have
several consultants that go out to businesses and each of them writes down
the time and worked performed on an Excel spreadsheet that I designed for
our needs. At the end of each week each of the consultants emails me the
spreadsheet with their information which I then have to manually enter
into QuickBooks. I tried using the QuickBooks Timer but it does not work
for us. What I am looking for is for a program that will take the Excel
spreadsheet information and convert it so that I can import into
QuickBooks. Do you have such a program?

I am in charge of the
accounting department for our local High School Band. There are over 500
band members and each of them must purchase several items during the
school year. We have to create the same invoice for each of the band
member and we do this several times a year. Each time the invoice
information and amount is different, but the invoice is the same for all
members. Do you have a program that will allow us to create a single
invoice but use this invoice to create the invoices for the rest of the
the band members?

I just found out that my secretary entered several
months worth of credit card information into the Accountants Copy of
QuickBooks. She spent several days doing this in order to bring our
American Express Gold and Corporate cards up to date. Do you have a
program that can take the information from the Accountants file to the
normal QuickBooks data file?

We provide the rebate service for several
manufactures. We have a website where the customer will go to and enter
the coupon information and our system will automatically create and mail
them a check. This is done in a Unix system and the system also creates a
report with the information for all the checks it has issued. My problem
is that there are over a thousand checks each month that I have to enter
into QuickBooks. Not because I need to create the checks but to be able to
balance our check book and for auditing purpose. Our system administration
has run into a complete wall when it comes to importing data into
QuickBooks. I desperate need your assistance either by you creating a
program for us or by providing technical assistance to our system
administrator.

Our business uses Peachtree Complete Accounting and
we recently were bought out and I was required to start a new company
file. I created a new company in Peachtree and exported all customers,
vendors and inventory items from our old company data file so that I can
import them into the new one. Our inventory consists of several thousand
items and the problem that I have is that Peachtree cannot import the
Items.csv file. It gives me all sorts of error messages. I don't understand
why Peachtree cannot import its own file. I open the file in Excel and
everything looks ok. Can you assist me with this problem?

I manage several Mobil Home Parks and receive a
report from a service company that bills our tenants/owners for the
utilities, rent and other miscellaneous charges. I use QuickBooks to keep
track of the accounting and have to enter the report's information in
QuickBooks to keep the books up to date. What I do is that I create
invoices from the report. I do not print nor mail the invoices since this
was done by the service company Do you have or can create a program that
will take the report data and create the invoices in QuickBooks?

Our company has a website and part of the
website is a request form that the customer fills out to request a free
video for our product. Ever since we have been listed in Yahoo!, the
requests have increase tremendously. I receive an email with the customer
information and from this I need to generate a shipping label, print a
thank you for your request letter and keep the customer information in
case the customer orders the product. When the customers orders the
product, I then need to transfer the information into QuickBooks for
creating the invoice and into UPS for shipping the product. Which of your
programs will help with our situation?
